With Mother’s Day com- ing up this Sunday, May 11, we decided to ask some youngsters why they loved their mothers and what they planned to do for her for Mother's Day. We visited the Zion Lutheran Nursey School, Marietta, and the Little People Co-Op Nursery School, Mount Joy. The children named below go to one of these two schools. When we asked the children why they loved their mothers we got these responses. Melissa Geesey loves her mother ‘‘because she lets me brush my teeth before going to bed.’’ Carrie Biagio loves her mother because ‘‘she kisses me every night before 1 go to bed.” Chad Seifried says that his mother makes him a cake and Travis Stiffler told us that his mother ties his shoes and lets him help her bake chocolate chip and pumpkin cookies. ‘““When 1 get sick Mother takes care of me,” said Marci Cain. Sarah Bromer told us that ‘‘our mothers love us. That's why we love her and tell her on Mother’s Day.” The children had many ideas for showing Mother how they love her. “I'm going to get her another new oven glove,” said Alex Roberts. Morgan Moran will give her mother flowers, Stacey Johnston plans to give her mother a card, and Anthony and Andrew Mus- ser plan to take their mother out for dinner. Shane Gillham will help his mother wash the dishes and Chad Seifried will ‘‘take the cusions off the coach so she can clean.” And, finally, Barbie Ket- tering had a very good suggestion. “‘I give grand- mother a present. Grand- mothers are our mother’s mother.”’ We at the Susquehanna Times wish all mothers a happy Mother’s Day. A iY us ARR FIFTEEN CENTS 1 Students at Zion Lutheran Nursery School, Marietta. New P.
