Dr. Marion Oliver pre- sented the address and William Gutshall was chair- man of the ceremony. Julie Endslow served as historian and Pamela Ebersole ex- plained the qualities of scholarship. Sherri Kinsey related the assets of leader- ship and Connie Frey ‘May Days ’ sale in Mount Joy The Mount Joy Mer- chants’ Association is hold- ing its annual Spring Sale. This year the May Days sale will be held May 1, 2, and 3. This is an excellent time for local shoppers to take advantage of great spring bargains at Mount Joy stores. Many Mount Joy merchants will be participat- ing in the sale. It is also a time to register to win ‘Joy Bucks’. Fire Co offers armetale The Mount Joy Friend- ship Fire Company is offering a limited edition set of Wilton armetale to commemorate the building of their new firehouse. The set consists of two 12 inch plates and a mug. The first plate will be issued on June 1S. It will have an engraving of the present firehouse on its face. The second plate will contain an engraving of the new fire station. It will be delivered on August 15. The mug will be delivered $600.00 in prizes will be given away in the form of these ‘““Joy Bucks’ which’ are redeemable at partici- pating merchants.
