Basketball girls win opener in first year of league play The DHS girl’s basketball team opened the season with a 40-32 win over Manheim Central at Done- gal last Friday. The Indian girls were behind 9-14 at halftime, but outscored their opponents in the final two periods. High scorers for DHS were Butch Kolp (16 points) and Kathy Shelly (11 points) The JVs lost 28-14. This is the first year of league play for the Donegal girls.
