The couple was married June 26, 1930, in the bride's home in Mount Joy. The wedding was the first one to be catered by Eli Hostetter. Mr. Miller says he got both a job and wife in the same week. After a wedding trip he began working for Wolgemuth Brothers, Inc., Mount Joy, as a mill foreman. Two years later he became salesman and sale manager for the feed company and has worked there for SO years. He has been partially retired since 1975 and plans to terminate his sevices this summer. Mr. Miller says that he enjoys the many pleasant memories of working at the mill and will always apprec- iate the friendship of the folks he has met through the years. Mr. Miller is the son of Phares and Emma Kraybill Miller and grew up at Elizabethtown RD#1 where his parents had a feed mill. Mrs. Miller is the daugh- ter of Levi H. and Minnie E. Musser. She enjoys music, flowers, crocheting and art. She taught kindergarten age children in Sunday School for many years at Mount Calvary Church, Elizabeth- town. The Millers are the parents of three daughters and one son: Hazel, wife of Lester Hawthorne, Eliza- bethtown RD; Jean, wife of John Lichty, Paradise; Pauline, wife of Jay Frey, Conestoga; and Robert, husband of the former Shirley Wade, Baltimore, Md. They have 12 grandchild- ren and 13 great-grandchild- ren. The team met Locust Heights, Columbia, at the Columbia pool Tuesday, July 1. The Susquehanna Times did not have informa- tion on this meet as we went to press. The parents of the team met after the Kakaleko meet to discuss several business items. It was reported that the team was invited to the Conestoga Invitational to be held Saturday, July S. Mrs. Darkey, chairman of ticket raffle sales for a meat raffle, reported that tickets are still available from any parent or swimmers. Draw- ing will be held Friday, July 4, at the Mount Joy Lions Club pool. Miss Sandra E. Bryant bride of George Reich The marriage of Miss Sandra E. Bryant to George A. Reich, 303 Union St., Columbia, took place Satur- day, June 28, at 10:30 am at the Presentation B.V.M. Catholic Church, Marietta, with the Rey. Callistus Juras officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Bryant Jr., 378 East Front St., Marietta. She is a graduate of Donegal High School and is employed by Y&S Candies. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay R. Reich, Marietta R1, and the late Marion Jean Reich. He” graduated from Donegal High School and is em- ployed by U.S. Lock and Hardware Company, Col- umbia. Mrs. Jean M. Hoffman, sister of the bride, Columbia R1, was matron of honor.
