Landis Odessa Mull marries William Landis The marriage of Odessa C. Mull to William A. Landis took place in the Congregational Bible Church near Marietta on Saturday, Jume 16th, at 10:30 AM. The Rev. John S. Hiestand officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Mull, 864 East Market Street, Marietta. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. William B. Landis, RD1 Columbia. The bride is a graduate of Donegal High School and the Junior College of Medical Arts. She is employed by Dr. William B. Landis, M.D., the father of the groom. The groom is a graduate of Donegal High School and the Florida Institute of Tech- nology. He plans to attend the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Mrs. Timothy Forry, sis- ter of the bride, was the matron of honor. Brides- maid was Mrs. David Martin, sister of the bride. Miss Sharon Martin, neice of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. Miss Amy Mar- tin, also a neice of the bride, was the flower girl. Phillip Landis was the best man for his brother. Groomsmen were James Landis, brother of the groom, and Wayne Hoff- Scott Forry and Michael Martin. were the ring bearers. Both are nephews of the bride. Ushers were Timothy Forry, brother-in-law of the bride, and David Martin, also a brother-in-law of the bride. Miss Barbara Landis, sister of the groom, was the registrar, and Mrs. Robert Richm was the gift receiver. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown of Silesta knit featur- ing a sheer yoke with accents of silk Venise lace, The long slender sleeves were adorned with insets of man. English net and motifs of silk Venise lace. The A-line skirt fell from a blousen waistline and flowed into a full chapel train, edged in silk Venise lace. The walking length man- tilla was trimmed with matching silk Venise lace and was gathered into a Juliette cap with matching silk lace. She carried a cascade bouquet of garden- ias and stephanetis with mixed green foliage. Mrs. Ralph Garber was the organist. Roy Aungst was the pianist. Soloist was Stephen Garber. The recep- tion was held in Myer Hall at Elizabethtown College. ~ Following a wedding trip through the southern United States, the couple will reside in Tampa, Florida. Nuke phones hooked up All but two of the 70 nuclear power plants in the country have now gotten direct phone hook-ups to the NRC headquarters in Mary- land. NRC technical person- nel will be on hand 24 hours a day to answer the phones. The two nuke plants _ahead of schedule. without phones have both been shut down for more than a year. The installation of the phones was started after the TMI incident. Thomas Willard and the Rev. Roger Colvin officiat- ing. The bride, of 62 East Main Street, Mount Joy, is the daughter of Nancy Kendig and the late Dr. Newton E. Kendig, M.D. She is a graduate of Donegal High School and the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. She is employed by College Hospital, Cerritos, California, as Program Co- ordinator for the Adult Psychiatric Program there. The groom, of 8010 South Danby Avenue, Whittier, California, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Miller of Millersburg, PA. He is a graduate of Millersburg High School and Messiah College, and is presently June 20, 1979 Gail Kendig marries Dixon Miller attending Rosemead Grad- uate School of Professional Psychology in La Mirada, CA. He is employed by The Journal of Psychology and Theology as technical editor. Ms. Stephanie Marks, Lancaster, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Donna Bulgrien, Grantville, PA; Miss Annette Miller, sister of the groom, Williamsport, PA; and Mrs. Linda Steele, Landisville, PA.
