Mr. Kline has been fighting a legal battle No tax hike in Mount Joy Twnshp Mount Joy Township has introduced a budget for 1977 that includes higher costs but no tax increases. The supervisors propose to spend $45,000 more than they will receive in the general fund next year, but the township tax base will remain at six mills. However, the township proposes increases in street light assessments. The supervisors want to in- crease the front foot rate from 28 to 35 cents on improved lots and 7 to 9 cents on unimproved lots.
