No tax hike in Mount Joy Twnshp
Mount Joy Township has
introduced a budget for
1977 that includes higher
costs but no tax increases.
The supervisors propose
to spend $45,000 more than
they will receive in the
general fund next year, but
the township tax base will
remain at six mills.
However, the township
proposes increases in street
light assessments. The
supervisors want to in-
crease the front foot rate
from 28 to 35 cents on
improved lots and 7 to 9
cents on unimproved lots.
