Page 10—SUSOUEHANNA TIMES * E-town sisters to appear in play Miss Black Two sisters from Eliza- bethtown will carry major roles in the ‘‘Sound of Music’, a Dutch Family Festival production. Carolyn and Barbara Black, daugh- ters of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Black, have been cast as the Baronness Elsa Schreader and Brigitta, one of the von Trapp children, respective- ly. Carolyn, presently a student at both Elizabeth- town College and Curtis Institute of Music in Phila- delphia, once carried the role of Maria in an Eliza- bethtown Community Pro- duction of ‘“The Sound of Music.”” She also played Eliza in ‘‘My Fair Lady’~ and Emily in ‘Our Town’ at Elizabethtown High School. A student of music Carolyn has performed with Liberace, Aaron Copland, and Arthur Fiedler, as well as on local television, WITF, WGAL, and WLYH. Also on the cast as a nun is Deb Henderson of Eliza- bethtown.
