CARE OF THE FEET.--Concerning that subject the Scientific .4 /aerie= very truely says : "Many are aimless' in the keeping of the feet. If they wash them once a week they think they are doing well, They do not consider that the largest pores of the systerit are 'located ill the bottom of the foot, and the most offensive matter is discharged through the pores, They wear stockings from the begining to the end of week without change, which become com pletely saturated with offensive matter. "11l health its genenated by such treat ment of the ket. The pores are not re-* pellanta but absorbents, and the fetid mat ter, to a greater or less extent, is taken hack into the system. The feet should be washed every day with pure water only, as well as the armpits, from which an offen sive odor is .also emitted, unless daily ab lution is practiced. Stockings should not be worn more than a day or two at a tithe. They may be worn one day, and then aired and sunned and.worn another day, If nec essity." FRI - The Frederick Md. We know many it good fellow who has been. putting himself °trivial-. out an overcoat this winter, or a mach needed pair of pants, or vest, because he thought he couldn't afford It. All such will now go right for Wangmaker'e, and lay in a stock for the next few, years. We infer that the sale is intended to be sharp and quick, but the chance is one of those that men "jump at," and so we neod• not say a word to our readers about being in good time. While business has been dull in the cities, and most busi ness men have been oppressed and eur bdraased, the fruit and grain crops , have been abundant beyond measure, and it looks as though our country friends are to have all the money this winter.
