PAGE 6 Phys Ed 170 Note For Non-Traditional Students by Marge Toniczak Attention non-traditional students, this is for you. For the first time, Physical Education_ 170 (a three credit course) is being of fered by Behrend. Ph Ed 170 ac commodates the Baccalaureate degree requirements and should be of value to any non-traditional students who have not taken any Ph Ed 5 credits to date, as it would substitute for all three. The first half of the class would be a lecture on the theory of exer cise. The second half would be lab where the students would apply the theory of exercise to practice. The grade is determined by two thirds knowledge and one third exercise practice. Registration for the summer session 1984 is June 6 and 7. Classes begin June 11, 1984 and end August 9, 1984. However, since this course has never been taught before, it would naturally involve considerable preparation time and effort. Dr. Sweeting, Dean's Representative for Health, Physical Education, and Recrea tion, would like to know how Studio 29 Tickets Studio 29 is offering a new ser vice to help make live theatre more accessible to local students. At 1 p.m. on each day of per formance, (generally Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) all unsold tickets will be made available to students for the performances that evening. Students can call in at that time and reserve tickets at a special half-price student rate. The tickets can be picked up at the door by showing the proper stu dent ID for $2.50 or $3.00, depen ding on whether a drama, com edy, or musical is being performed.
