Everyone’s a judge of Holsteins August 13, 1975 Holstein Day at Shellenbergers, mammoth cake depicts event . and Mrs. Shelley Shellenberger Last Thursday was Hol- stein Field Day at the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Shelley Shellenberger, Mount Joy, R.D. 1 The annual event is sponsored by the Lancaster County Holstein Associa- tion. The Shellenbergers were hosts for the day to more than 200 people, who came for the friendly fun and food, an also to learn more about judging Holstein cat- tle. The excellent menu served included plenty of barbecued chicken. A good portion of the dessert was provided by Lee (Mrs. James) Bickford, who baked a 4 by 2 foot cake decorated with a Holstein cow against a green meadow and blue sky. pau Sy rat x
