CARAVAN TEAM A team of ten talented and dedicated youth will present a different and unique service at the Chris- tian and Missionary Alliance Church, 153 East High Street, Elizabethtown on Tuesday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m. The Caravan team is being sponsored by the Eastern District of the C&MA under the direction of Pastor and Mrs. Robert W. Ellis, Bowie, Maryland. The Caravan arrived in Bowie on June 22 for a week of intensive training and following a service of dedication June 29 they left immediately for Miami, Florida and Colombia, South America, where from July 3 to 17 they will team with Alliance missionaries in conducting evangelistic open-air services and enga- ging in Indian Tribes minis- try. Services will also be conducted by the youth in some of the Colombian National churches. Upon their return in mid-July, the Caravan will visit many of the Eastern District churches in the four remaining weeks of their summer itinerary. They will not only be conducting inspirational services but teaching S-day Clubs or VBS and doing door-to-door visi- tation and personal evange- lism in certain area Alliance churches where they have already been assigned. DEATH DANIEL B. WERNER Daniel B. Werner of Mount" Joy R.D. 2, died Monday at 8:45 p.m. at Lancaster General Hospital following a brief illness. He was 82. A member of Grace Brethren Church in Eliza- bethtown, he was a farmer all his life. Born in Carroll County, MD., he was the son of the late John S. and Amelia Baugher Werner. He is survived by his widow, Katie Witmer Wer- ner, and three children, Miss Elizabethtown W. Werner, at home; Miriam, wife of Raymond F. Herr, and Paul W. Werner, all of Mount Joy, R. D. 2, and four children. DEATH Clyde G. Libhart Clyde G. Libhart. 71, of Bainbridge R. D. 1, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a retired truck driver and served 25 years with the federal government at the former Olmstead Air Base, Middletown. Libhart was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Bainbridge; the Bainbridge Fire Company and the Bainbridge Band. He was a social member of Libhart-Dyer American Legion Post 197. Born in Bainbridge, he was the son of the late Phillip and Minerva Grove Libhart. In addition to his widow, Elsie Raber Libhart, at home, he is survived by two daughters, Betty, wife of George Halbleib Sr., Eliza- bethtown R.D. 4, and Susan R., wife of Charles Hatfield, Harrisburg. He is survived by four sons, James, Lewisburg; Raymond, Elizabethtown; H. Bernell, Elizabethtown; and Robert, Sterling Park, VA. Libhart is also survived by a brother, H.
