ELAM G. LAPP* MARIETTA* DIES Elam G. Lapp, 68, Marietta R1, died at 3:45 p.m. Friday in Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital after an illness of three weeks. The husband of Ruth L. Ressler Lapp, he was born in Leacock Township, a son of the late Benjamin and Malinda Glick Lapp. A member of Congregational Bible Church, Marietta, he was a retired farmer and had worked parttime for R. E.hershey Meat Market, Elizabethtown. Beside his widow, he is survived by these sons and daughters: Donald E. Lapp, Denver, Colo., Mrs. A. Florence McKain, Marietta; G. Roland Lapp, Elizabeth- town R1; Robert O. Lapp, York. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Henry S. Lapp, Gordonville R1; Leroy Lapp, Gap RI; David F. Lapp, Parkesburg Star Route; Christianne Lapp, Gap; Benjamin F. Lapp, Christiana Rl; Leon Lapp, Sarasotam Fla; and Melvin E. Lapp, Akron. MRS. PAUL BROOKS Mrs. Blanche Brooks, S8, of 166 Locust St., Columbia, formerly of Marietta, died at 7:20 a.m. on Friday in Columbia Hospital after a long illness. The widow of Paul O. Brooks, she was born in Marietta, a daughter of the George and Rebecca Marleu McKain. She was formerly employed at the A. Werman and Son Shoe Co., Marietta. She is survived by a son, Paul J.
