Market Street, Marietta, at the exhibit held Saturday. Top ribbon went to Theresa Lavin, first prize winner in the beginner class. Second place went to Lonie Brown, Columbia, and third place and honorable mention went to Ryan Cover. Intermediate level first prize winner was Lee Blaisdell of Elizabethtown. Second prize winner was Jean Becknauld, Elizabeth- town, third prize winner was Mark Sidelneck, Rheems, and Lee Blaisdell won an honorable mention. Judges for the show were Mrs. Michael Abel and William Nagle, both of Marietta, and Theresa Maurer, art instructor at Columbia High School. These productions in the show were completed in a three semester course in various media for pupils aged 6 through 1S years. Bulletin had talents of Pam Horst, Ramona Sell in Career Elective Last week the Bulletin ran a story about the Career - Elective Prgram at Donegal High School. The article was written by Pam Horst and Ramona Sell. and concluded that the program was successful for the second year in introdu- cing students to real-life vocations and in bettering school and community rela- tions. What the writers of the article did not say was that they themselves were doing the article while participa- ting in the Career Elective Program at the Bulletin. The story on the Career Elective Program was only one of many assignments carried out by Pam and Ramona. They teamed up on many stories, built on photographs by Pam and interviews by Ramona. They also constructed advertisements, helped lay out the newspaper, proof- read, established a much needed picture file, picked ap innumerable scraps Bainbridge queen contest Members of the Bainbridge Fire Company Auxiliary invite all girls who are living in Conoy Town- ship and are entering sixth grade to participate in the annual Queen Contest for the Labor Day event.
