He will be a playground instructor this summer. Mrs. Anna Hiestand, who had surgery at St. Joseph's hospital is no longer in the Intensive Care Unit. Mrs. James Shank who had surgery at St. Joseph’s hos- pital has returned home to convalesce. Elmer B. Grove has retura- ed home frim the Columbia hospital to convalesce. David Shank did not suffer from a coronary as was Lre- viously reported. He remains a patient in the General hos- pital. Mrs. Ruth Drager has again returned from the hospital and is convalescing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hiestand. The men of the United Church of Christ served a Mother-Daughter banquet to about 45 ladies of the church May 21. By all reports the men did a bang un job. Community Bible School will be held from June 12 thru June 23 at the Church of God. A Children’s Day program combined with the regular service will be held at the Church of God on Sunday at 9:30 am. Mrs. James Reap- some will be the speaker. Last Sunday, May 21, was Homecoming at the Maytown Brethren in Christ Church. It was the 50th anniversary of the church.
