Baby Dainty scored an instant hit with playroom occupants upon her introduction in 1912. The EFFanBEE Doll Co. of New York City kept this choice collectible in production for the next 10 years. She had a composition shoulder head, painted molded hair, and painted features. Originally, the doll wore one of the firm's metal heart shaped bracelets. Some specimens were marked simply “EFFanBEE", others ’‘EFFanBEE, Baby Dainty". Presently, the 15-inch tall Baby Dainty doll sells for a delightful $75. Q.
