Pastor 9:00 AM Sunday School 10:15 AM Morning Worship wilderness country of Alaska and contains some beautiful scenery from the northern state. Tough Men is not a travelogue, how- ever. It is, as the title states, the story of two men who pit their strength against the stark elements of nature and emerge the winners. The story begins the day before hunting season with Pappy, a tough huntex who knows where the big moose grow. He hires a bush pilot to fly him, a friend Corky, and his Bassett hound, Boulder Jack, into the Alaskan out-back. Pappy’s stubborn refusal to tell anyone where they are crash, and after several days Pappy realizes the plane will not return and that no one knows where they are. A tragic fire robs them of their tent, food supply and guns, leaving them only a handfull of matches, a small New Testament, and hip-deep snow blocking their trek home. With cold, hunger, and uncharted miles of snow covered wilderness before them, and a pack of howling timber wolves trailing them, the two men live out a rare adventure story. The film was produced by Skyline Productions and is a Gospel Films Inc. release. The public is invited.
