Simmons, is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kanoff, Maytown, Pa. The wedding took place May 12 at 6:00 PM in the Fort Polk Army Hospital Chapel with Army Chaplain Gary Green officiating at the double ring ceremony. The bride was attended by Spec. 4 Ella Askew as maid of honor. The best man was P.F.C. Abel Vasquez. Both are of Fort Polk, Louisiana. Both the bride and groom are stationed at Fort Polk Army Hospital. The bride is a chaplain’s assis- tant and the groom is a medic. The bride is a 1977 graduate of Donegal High School and was employed by Donegal Industries in the shipping department before entering the Army.
