The marriage of Pvt. E2
Mary Jane Kanoff to Pvt.
E2 Michael R. Simmons, is
announced by her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Michael
Kanoff, Maytown, Pa.
The wedding took place
May 12 at 6:00 PM in the
Fort Polk Army Hospital
Chapel with Army Chaplain
Gary Green officiating at
the double ring ceremony.
The bride was attended
by Spec. 4 Ella Askew as
maid of honor. The best
man was P.F.C. Abel
Vasquez. Both are of Fort
Polk, Louisiana.
Both the bride and
groom are stationed at Fort
Polk Army Hospital. The
bride is a chaplain’s assis-
tant and the groom is a
medic. The bride is a 1977
graduate of Donegal High
School and was employed
by Donegal Industries in
the shipping department
before entering the Army.

the Mount Joy Vo-Tech.
She is employed by AMP,
Inc. in Florin.
The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Harlan F.
Haake, Sr., of 65 Vista
Drive, Maytown. He is a
graduate of Donegal High
School and the Mount Joy
Vo-Tech. He is employed
by Bob Smith Contractors
in Maytown.
Miss Deborah Smith of
Columbia was the maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were:

Joy; Elizabeth Graham of
Columbia;
Geesy of Columbia. Junior
and Sandra
bridesmaid was Tracy Fill-
more of Dallastown. Flower
girl was Jennifer Demmy of
