Mary Kanoff, Jenni Kohler, Phyllis Shope wins math award Phyllis Shope of Marietta received honorable mention when Elizabethtown Col- lege’s Department of Mathematics awarded scholarships to high school students on the basis of their performance in a competitive examination held recently on campus. More than 30 high school juniors and seniors took the examination, after which many and their parents stayed on campus for a tour, dinner and a basket- ball game or play, accord- ing to Dr. Ronald L. Shu- bert, chairman of the mathematics department.
