DHS chorus to sing at area churches
‘““No Greater Love,” a:
cantata by John W. Peter-
son, will be performed by
the Donegal Chorus at six
Mount Joy area churches in
coming weeks.
Performances are sched-
uled for the Trinity Luth-
eran Church, Mount Joy,
March 27 at 7 p.m.; and
the Mount Joy Church of
God, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Also Mount Pleasant
Brethren in Christ, Mount
Joy R2, April 24 at 7 p.m.;
Saint Mark’s United Meth-
odist Church, Mount Joy,
May 1 at 7 p-m.; Cross-
roads Brethren in Christ
Church in Mount Joy, May
8 at 7 p.m.; and the
Elizabethtown Brethren in
“Christ Church, May 22 at 7
p.m.
The soloists from the Donegal High chorus, who will perform a cantata at area
churches;
Gephart, and Jim Johnson.

math award
Phyllis Shope of Marietta
received honorable mention
when Elizabethtown Col-
lege’s Department of
Mathematics awarded
scholarships to high school
students on the basis of
their performance in a
competitive examination
held recently on campus.
More than 30 high school
juniors and seniors took the
examination, after which
many and their parents
stayed on campus for a
tour, dinner and a basket-
ball game or play, accord-
ing to Dr. Ronald L. Shu-
bert, chairman of the
mathematics department.
