Randy Eltz ends training Navy Seaman Recruit Randy D. Eltz, brother of Mrs. Donna Edye of 111 North Barbara Street, Mount Joy, PA has com- pleted recruit training at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week training cycle, he studied general military subjects designed to prepare him for further academic and on-the-job training in one of the Navy’s 85 basic occupational fields. Among the subjects he studied were seamanship, close-order drill, naval history and first aid. The tip-off is that they'll always get around to asking you for money. No matter how convincing their reasons may be, learn to say the safest word you know. “No!” Here's an example. It's the “bless your money” swindle. A charming stranger offers to ‘bless’ your money in order to remove a curse or to perform some type of ritual which will increase its value. You are asked to with- draw cash from your account. In the process of handling your money the stranger excuses herself for a moment. She's gone and so is your money.
