February 25, 1976 Letter to the editor Dear Sir: As a student of Donegal High School and an avid follower of the basketball team I felt I should write this letter and explain my feelings as well as my friends’. Recently we lost an important playoff game to Ephrata. In a few newspa- pers I noticed sports head- lines such as ‘‘Mounts Embarrass Donegal.”” 1 would like to say although we lost the game no Donegal fans were embarrassed or ashamed of our team. Even if we had lost by a hundred points we still would be proud of our basketball players. As a basketball fan I am urging fellow students and people of the Donegal community to continue to support our great team. The District playoffs are coming up and the Donegal Indians have a good chance to win. Come watch the games and cheer our players on. And so, John, Kevin, Bob, Mark, Chris and other team members, Keep char- ging because we here at Donegal are behind you one hundred percent! Sincerely, S.
