The - event will be held at the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus in Lehman from1to4 p.m. Dough- erty has been liv- ing his dream of perform- ing music since high school. Contin- uously growing as a musician, he has put his true thoughts and words on paper and is currently work- ing on a solo album. The album, due out in late May, will show- case Dougherty’s vocal talent and songwriting. Dougherty The Lake-Lehman Founda- tion will also announce the re- cipient of the 2011 Lake-Leh- man Foundation Scholarship at the event. This $1,000 scholar- ship is awarded annually to a graduating senior of Lake-Leh- man High School pursuing higher education. Guests of the tea will enjoy a menu of finger sandwiches, homemade desserts and a wide variety of teas and other bever- ages. The event will also feature a basket and gift raffle, featur- ing gift certificates from Back Mountain and area businesses, as well as theme baskets donat- ed by members of the communi- ty. The cost is $20 for adults and $15 for students and senior citi- zens. All proceeds benefit the - Lake-Lehman Scholarship Fund. Reservations can be made by calling the Foundation office at 255-2906.
