Center midfielder Hannah Stull led all scorers with four goals. Jordan Kelly added three goals and an assist while Alysa Adams scored an unassisted tal- ly for the Bandits late in the game that proved to be the game winner. Back Mountain defenders Ka- tie Stemrich, Kennedy Straitiff and Danielle McCole caused numerous turnovers and held off alate rally by the Red Rovers. Rookie goalie Makenzie Bo- rum made 10 saves against 17 shots in the winning effort. B GAME Back Mountain 2 Easton 2 In the “B” game, the Bandits found themselves down, 2-0, at the half. Goalie Borum shut out Easton in the second half while McCole and Hunter Pittman found the net to end the game in a 2-2 tie. ctories First-year players Pittman, Amanda Miller, Ashleigh Schwartz, Julia Hutsko, Jes- sica Blat, Samantha Delama- ter, Katie Strohl and Hailee DuMont all had strong games for the Bandits. 4/6 GRADE GIRLS Easton 10 Back Mountain 0 The Bandits 4/6 grade girls team found itself on the wrong side of a 10-0 score against an experienced East- on squad. Goalies Annalouise Riven- bark and Lauren Golden combined for 10 saves on 20 shots. Despite strong per- formances by Katie Roberts, Haily Yakimovitz and Taylor Alba, Back Mountain was un- able to get on the board. U-13 The Back Mountain Ban- dits U-13 lacrosse team par- ticipated in a tournament held in Pottstown. The Ban- dits played competitive but suffered losses in all three games. Goals were scored by Stone Mannello (2 goals), Andrew Shurities, Keith Gi- lette and Connor Motley. Basketball game notes end of PSSA testing tudents in fifth and sixth grade at the Ross Elementary School competed against teachers in a basketball game April 1 in cele- bration of the conclusion of PSSA testing. The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment tests are yearly exams developed in 1999 with standards for students in grades 3 through 8 as well as grade 11 in reading, writing and mathematics.
