Upon retirement, he moved to Penn- sylvania where he was active in the watershed coalitions. For several years, she was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Mothers’ Club of Central Catholic High School. Back Mountain blood drives set for March The American Red Cross will conduct two blood drives in the Back Mountain during the month of March. A “tots drive” will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 23, at Dallas American Legion, Memorial Highway, Dal- las. All “O” type blood from this drive will be sent to neonatal units at local hospitals for sick ba- bies. A Community Drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Penn State University Wilkes-Barre Campus. The Red Cross requests that all donors bring identi- fication and their Red Cross Blood card. PFirst- time donors will receive a card after their first dona- tion.
