Youth cha 5th & 6th GRADE BOYS Fieldhouse 31 DeLuca Law 18 Brendan Baloh scored 11 points and Aleksey Gitelson add- ed 10 as Fieldhouse Sporting Goods won the championship of the 5th/6th grade boys division in the Dallas Youth Basketball League with a 31-18 victory over DeLuca Law Offices. Nick Mathers added two points for the Fieldhouse while Allen Fell led DeLuca Law with 13 points. Jeff Strazdus added four points and David Simpson had one. DeLuca 33 Eye Care Specialists 22 DeLuca Law Offices reached the title game with a 33-22 semi- final win over sixth-seeded Eye Care Specialists. Allen Fell dom- inated with 24 points while Con- nor Macarty and Tim Elston add- ed a basket each. Brian Drouse led Eye Care with 10 points while Eric Pincof- ski and Jack Tomko chipped in with four points each. Fieldhouse 40 Smith Insurance 28 Jonathan Wilson scored 12 points and Nicholas James added nine as Fieldhouse defeated Smith Insurance Group, 40-28, in a semi-final game. Jesse Kincer added six points and Ryan Ches- kevich had three for Fieldhouse. Zach Connolly led Smith Insur- ance with 12 points, followed by Donald Michalisin and Kyle Pis- corik with six points each. Banas, Byron & Kim 39 DeLuca Law 36 Dr. Banas, Byron & Kim sedat- ed the attorneys from DeLuca Law Offices, 39-36. Jason Simi- novich was on fire, netting 18 points. Matt Saba racked up 10 steals and 12 points. The law firm was led by Eric Zawatski, scoring 18 points and pulling in 11 rebounds. Marianno Medico was hot from the corner with eight while Aaron Napkora pulled in eight boards and put back two points. Gallis Insurance 49 Grotto Pizza 45 Gallis Insurance held off a fu- rious comeback from Grotto Piz- za to win, 4945. John Murray took the game over to rally the Pizza Men by scoring 35 points, 19 of them in the fourth quarter. The Brawlers were led by Felix Doleman who scored 16 points. Brian Banas played well by add- ing 12 points. J T Carey con- trolled the boards, pulling in 13 rebounds and putting back eight. Chris Behm was hot from the out- side, netting six.
