Chocallo can now add the prestigious John Egli Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Award to her list of accomplish- ments. The Penn State Wilkes-Barre sophomore is a PSUAC Academ- ic All-Conference player, as well as captain and most valuable player of the 2007-08 women’s basketball team. She is also a member of the Lady Lions volley- ball squad. Since en- tering Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Chocallo has served as a volun- teer at several different elemen- tary schools and high schools. Currently, she is in the process of completing her Education de- gree and will attend University Park in the fall. The John Egli Award was es- tablished in 1982 and honors his long-standing dedication and de- votion to Penn State University. Egli was responsible for the de- velopment of athletic programs currently offered throughout the Penn State satellite system.
