Ths show will open with a meet the artist reception on the first floor of the courthouse on Friday, January 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend and talk with the artist. Furman, a native of New York City, has resided in Susquehanna County since 1986. He attended Pratt Institute, University of Cincinnati and Wesleyan University where he studied art and architecture and graduated with honors from Queen’s College (now SUNY). He has been a tennis pro and coach, music school owner /teacher, piano rebuilder and furniture designer, but tends to think of himself as one who enjoys and loves to create
