Simmer workshop for children at the Misic Box The Music Box Players will conduct a Summer Theater Work- shop for children ages 8 to 13 for 11 sessions, Mondays, Wednes- days and Fridays starting July 19. Each session will run from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at The Music Box Dinner Playhouse, 196 Hugh- es St., Swoyersville. With a staff of Music Box Players headed by Kevin Costley, the workshop will introduce children to the basics of acting, singing, improvisation, mime, set and lighting design, makeup, costume design and special effects. The children will also rehearse a play which they will present before an audience on August 13 and 14 at The Music Box.
