After holding a three point lead after the first quarter, the Mountaineers fell farther be- hind at the end of the each suc- ceeding quarter. The offense was led by Dan Fauerback with 10 - points. Jeff Zaruta followed with nine points, while sophomores Chuck Suppon and John Simonitis each added eight points. Pittston Area 64, Dallas 49 The Patriots used a balanced attack and steady play through- out four quarters in cruising to a 15-point win over the Mountain- eers on Saturday. The Mountain- eers used five players in the game, with each scoring at least five points. Chuck Suppon led the way with 19 points including a 7- for-7 free throw performance. Jeff Zaruta compiled a dozen points including two triples. Hazleton Area 69, Lake-Leh- man 37 . The Black Knights fell behind 39-13 at the halfin losing to mighty Hazleton Area on Saturday night. No player for Lake-Lehman reached 10 points in the game, but ten different Knights did record points. Matt Dunn was the high man in scoring with eight points, followed by Matt Loftus with six points.
