Any inter- ested artists or craftspeople 18 years of age or older may apply. The Fine Arts Fiesta, celebrat- ing its 45th Anniversary, will be held May 18 through May 21 on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. More than 100,000 people attend the four-day event annually, which is the oldest full-scale arts festival in Pennsylvania. All work must be of the artist's original design. Jurors and the Fine Arts Fiesta Board of Direc- tors reserve the right to determine the eligibility of all objects sub- mitted. The Fiesta has histori- cally attracted local artists as well as craftspeople from around the country. It has presented a varied collection of media including handcrafted jewelry, wearable fi- bers, original artwork and pho- ‘tography. Dallas Baptist to host caregivers seminar The Dallas Baptist Church is planning an information session Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. The meeting is for care takers assisting elderly and ill family members.
