Charles Lemmond (R-20) invites area artists age 60 and over to submit entries for the 13th - Annual Pennsylvania Senior Arts Festival, to be held at the state Capitol in May and June.’ The event, celebrating older Pennsylvanians and the Interna- tional Year of Older Persons, is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Council on Aging, an advisory arm of the state Department of Aging, ‘ Lemmond said. “This contest provides Pennsylvania's best senior artists with a chance to demonstrate their talents, and honors their contin- ued contribution to the arts,” he explained. Professional and amateur art- ists are invited to enter. Artists must be residents of Pennsylva- nia, age 60 or older, and the work they submit must have been com- pleted after their 60th birthday. A jury of experts will judge en- tries in the following categories: oil, acrylic, watercolor, photogra- phy or other medium.
