Giants 9, Red Sox 8 10 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, May 28, 1997 SPORTS SHORTS Wennington returns to basketball camp Bill Wenningon of the Chicago Bulls will be the guest speaker at the Cougars Basketball School for Boys this summer at College Misericor- dia. The camp is open to boys ages eight to 15 and will be offered in two sessons, June 23-27, and July 14-18. Specialized training in all areas of the game will be featured, including shooting, passing, defense, dribbling and philosophy. Cost of the camp is $110 per student per week and includes a camp T-shirt, and basketball, lunch and an optional swim period in the Anderson Center pool. In addition to Wennington, Misericordia head men’s basketball coach Dave Martin will serve as camp director. Register for U-10 fall travel league A U-10 Fall Travel Soccer League is being sponsored by Back Mountain Youth Soccer Association. Two separate leagues, one for boys and one for girls, will begin play in September. The league is open to all teams in Northeastern Pennsylvania which are composed of players born between Aug. 1, 1987 to July 31, 1989. All games will be played on Sunday afternoons. Soccer camp at Wilkes University Registrations are now being taken for the 14th annual Wilkes Unviersity Colonels soccer camp which will be held this year from Mon. July 28 through Fri., August 1 at Ralston Field in Edwardsville. The camp, under the direction of Phil Wingert, will run each day from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is open to boys and girls ages six through high school. Cost of the camp is $65. The Wilkes camp is the oldest soccer camp in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
