Dente, “Names and Things," is on display at the MacDonald Art Gallery at College Misericordia through December 9. Dente used a toy camera bought at a flea market to create the soft center images of the photos. Each negative had to be processed individually and printed accord- ing to the effect produced by the camera's single shutter speed, resulting in the impressions the artist sought. Dente holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from been included in numerous shows in the eastern United States since - 1980. This exhibition is dedicated to the memory of AmandaJosephine Weed 1990-1994. The MacDonald Art Gallery is free and open to the public year round.
