Born in Roger Hollow, Me- hoopany, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Anna Adams Staymets. She owned and operated her own beauty shop in Montrose prior to being employed by Common- wealth Telephone Company, Tunkhannock. She was a member of the Wyo- ming Avenue Christian Church, Kingston where she taught Sun- day School and played the piano. Surviving are her husband, David C.; sons, David, Alpha, NJ; Stephen Tracy, Minn.; Howard, Dallas; daughters, Kathleen Goss, Kilgore, Texas.; Sharon Linkert, Apple Valley, Minn.; Rene Valen- tine, Saginaw, Mich.; sister, Gla- dys Frempter, Laguna Beach, Calif.; 12 grandchildren. Interment, Chapel Lawn Me- morial Park, Dallas. DORIS SCHOOLEY Dorish Schooley, 60, of Ruggles section of Lake Township, died Nov. 4, 1994 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Lake Township, Sept. 20, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Hennebaul Grey. She resided in Ruggles all her life and was employed by Native Textiles, Dallas for the last 30 years. She was a member of the Ruggles United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Richard W., celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on Feb. 14. She was preceded in death by a half-brqther Allen Grey. Surviving in addition to her husband, are sons, Richard W. Jr., Ruggles; Gary L. Loyalville; brother, Robert Grey, Ruggles; two granddaughters. Interment, will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Loyalville. FRANK PARKER Frank T. Parker, 79, of James Street, Shavertown, Kingston Township, died Nov. 4, 1994, in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, King- ston. Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Charles and Ida Glancy Parker. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Panama and Italy. He was also a drill instructor during the warat Camp Wheeler, Macon, GA. He also served during the Korean War. For 32 years, he was employed by the Commonwealth of Penn- sylvania with the Department of Justice as a correctional officer in Pittsburgh and Rockview and was Captain of the Guard at the State Correctional Institution, Dallas. Prior to his retirement in 1969, he was a prison inspector. He was then employed as a messenger by United Penn Bank for 19 years, retiring in 1980. Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Mary McLaughlin; son, Tho- mas, Gering, Neb.; three grand- sons. Interment, Mount Olivet Ceme- tery, Carverton, Kingston Town- ship. James B. Huston Sr., 91, of Hudson, Ohio, died Oct. 31, 1994, in Akron General Hospital, where he had been a patient for one week. Born in Camden, NJ, he was a son of the late James Butt and Mary Bond Huston. He was employed as a sales- man by Quaker Oats Co. in its Livestock Feeds Division for 30 years. In 1939, he moved to Dallas Mary Lamoreaux Jesse, a life- long resident of Jackson Town- ship, died Nov. 3, 1994, at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock, as aresult of injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier in the afternoon. Born Dec. 2, 1930, in Jackson Township, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Iva Coates Lamoreaux. She was a graduate of Lehman Jackson High School. She received her bachelor's and master’s degrees in education from Wilkes College. She earned heradministrator's certificate at Marywood College. JAMES HUSTON SR. and operated the Old Toll Gate Feed Service, Trucksville, for many years. He also was a partner with his son, James B. Huston, Jr., in Huston's Feed Service, Dallas. He was a member of Mer- chantville Lodge 119 Free and Accepted Masons for 69years and the Irem Temple, AAONMS, Wilkes-Barre for 39 years. He was a longtime member of MARY JESSE She taught in the Lake-Lehman School District from 1952 until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Na- tional Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association, and Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter Tau. She was amember of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, South Wilkes- Barre and its senior citizens’ group. She and her husband, Charles celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on Oct. 9. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are stepchildren, Mari- lyn Martin, Plymouth Township; Dallas, PA Wednesday, November 9, 1994 15 Dallas United Methodist Church and an active member of the Dal- las Kiwanis. He moved to Ohio in 1988 and resided in Stow, Ohio, with his wife of 63 years, Dorothy K., who died in 1990. : Surviving are his son, James Jr., three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. = Interment, Chapel Lawn Me- morial Park, Dallas.
