They recently traveled to Vestal, New York to participate in the 13th Annual Golden Circle of Bands Competition. The band was awarded first place in their group. They also won Best Overall Percussion and Best Overall Drum Major. This year's field show music is “Colovetsian Dances," a ballet which occurs in the opera “Prince Igor” by Alexander Borodin. The design staff includes Marc Sylvester, drill designer; Edward Richards, musical arranger; Todd Marcocci, visual ensemble designer; Marching band wins first place In Keystone band festival The Lake-Lehman Marching Band competed in the 12th Annual Key- ~ stone Invitational Festival of Bands ~ held in Carlisle, Pa. on October 10. The band won first place in their group. They were also awarded the High Percussion Awardand theHenry Nelson High Music Award. On October 18, they traveled to ~ Pennsville, N. J. to participate in the 18thAnnual Showcase of Bandshosted Dave Gambal, battery percussion arranger and Ed Teleky, pit percus- sion arranger. Killian have been named co- chairs of the 1992-93 annual campaign for Wyoming Valley Montessori School, Kingston, ac- cording to Board President Beth Hobbs.
