John Gdovin named manager at C-TEC John J. Gdovin has been ap- pointed director of Service Center Operations for C-TEC Cable Sys- tems, a subsidiary of C-TEC Cor- poration. According to Executive Vice President Paul W. Mazza, Gdovin will be responsible for all aspects of operations for C-TEC Cable's new Customer Service Center located on Lake Street in Dallas. The facility handles all customer service functions for the firm’s more than 66,000 cable tele- vision subscribers in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Gdovin joined C-TEC in 1979 as an employee of Commonwealth Telepone Company and later moved on to the cable television division when it began operations in 1981. His work with this new division earned him, in 1986, the Com- pany’s Pursuit of Excellence Award for outstanding achievement. A graduate of King's College with degrees in both mathematics and economics, Gdovin is also an alum- nus of the “Leadership Wilkes- Barre” program. He resides in Dallas with his wife, Barbara and their three children, John, Jr., Peter and Maria. JOHN J. The “We Care” employee’s name is submitted by a patient, visitor or fellow employee who recognizes the individual for his or her exemplary performance. Sadowski was nominated for her kind and considerate manner and her willingness to answer ques- tions. In recognition of her honor, Sadowski received a $200 U.S. Savings Bond.
