Various tastes were displayed by the many types of gowns. Some were billowing floor-length, and others were short formals, but all were exceptionally beautiful. Most of the fellows were attired in sum- mer tux. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the Junior-Senior Prom queen by the class president, John Dana. Several minutes elaps- ed between the time of the an- nouncement and the ascension of the queen, Diane Stash. She was crowned and presented with one dozen long-stemmed red roses. A dance was then dedicated to Diane and her escort, Robert Margaret Fowler, Janice Thompson and Gail Mosier await their dates at the star-spangled entrance to the ballroom.
