Sirs. Miles Hurled. The funeral of Ellen, widow of Patrick Miles, took place this morning from the resi dence of her son-in-law, P. J. Gaughan, on West Oak street. High mass was celebrated at the Annunciation church and Interment mado iu the Parish cemetery. A large number of friends of tbe family attended the funeral. The pall bearers wore J. B. and P. B. Mona glian, Edward Burke, Jamos Wade, E. F. Gallagher ami Michael Dougherty. The ser vices at the church were conducted hy Hov. Father O'lteilly, the pastor. After tho abso lution he preached a touching and impressive sermon. Ho said Mrs. Miles had lived several years beyond tho patriarchal ago of 70 years, and that her last moments had been consoled by the sacraments of the religion in whicli she had n simple and abiding faith.
