The fastest times of the night were recorded in the Fayette- Jordan contest i when Brian Giersch won the backstroke in 40.6 an& Fred Schwartz took first place- in the breast stroke in 41.51 to lead Fayette to a 2542 victory. IN THE FREESTYLE event, Hugh McGee and Lee Olsen won the only first' -place for Jordan when they raced to a dead heat in 36.6 seconds. The' two swim mers were matched stroke for stroke for the last 10 yards of the race. John Yocum wow first place i. the diving events with a 10.6 to add another live points to Fay ette's score.
