PAGE SIX CARROLL D. CHAMPLIN Champlin Leaves On Europe Tour Dr. Carroll D. Champlin, pro fessor of education at the College, left recently on the steamship America for Europe where he will visit England, France, Denmark, Norway. Sweden. Finland. Poland and Czechoslovakia. The group of writers, lecturers and educators and businessmen will visit these countries in the interest of international welfare. Leading the group is Jerome Davis, free lance Writer, lecturer and teacher as well as a theolo gist, sociologist and internation alist. The men may receive a permit to visit Russia for a few days, they were informed by the Rus sian Embassy in Washington. The trip will include air trips from London to Stockholm, Warsaur to Prague, Prague to Paris and Paris to New York City. Several of the trips will be a combination of boat and train. Special features of the event will be conferences and discus sion programs on board ship, re ception in the Parliament build ing in London,-and a three-day International Youth Festival in Prague.
