MONDAY MOANING, JUNE f) The Black Horse Cavalry at Bull A correspondent, - writing of an inter view with the rebel prisoners taken lately on the retreat from Yorktown, says he in quired of them respecting the "Black Horse Cavalry " at the battle of Bull Run, and got this reply: "The Black Horse Crvalry were not in the engagement. One company of this cavalry followed up your retreat fur a short distance, and lost half a dozen men. Part of St nen' s eavalry were in the engagement, but only made one or two charges upon your troops. After the battle; some person from New York city anonymously sent to the commander of the Black Horse Cavalry a magnificent pair of silver spurs, as a compliment for his sup posed gallantry, but the regiment took no part in the engagement." A Trout Factory in Connecticut. Messrs. Dunham, Kelogg & Ives. of Hartford, a have arge trout thetory in op eration in Glastenburg; Conn.. where trout are hatched by artificial means. The number now in the pond is between 40,- 000 an d 41,000, and rapidly increasing-- When the stock reaches the number of half a million; they estimate a yield of roll,Oilo pounds per annum. As they will bring in market from 25 to 56 cents per pound, this l amount would afford a very pleasant net income. The fishes are led regularly, and have a man in constant attendance. Their food consists of small fishes and shad spawn in season. Millions of suckers are raised to feed the hungry beauties of the I pond. Passports for Marseilles.
