It was found between two logs, by n couple of boys, and was oovered over by a piece of sheet-iron. Coroner Lowry held an inquest, when it was as certained that the child was born alive and had come to its death from exp’osnre or violenoe. A poet mortem examination was made by Dr. Shew, who testified that that the longs were fall of air, and that the child had probably lived for some time after its birth. A " verdict of “ death, caused by person or persons unknown,” was rendered by the jury.
