Btdttbhiko ahd Btammbbihg. —Of all afflic
tions whioh the human family are heir to, Blat
tering or Stammering is the most unpleasant.
It unfits them for bnslness, deprives them from
Booiety, ruins their dispositions, prodnoes pul
monary diseases, shortens life, and brings them
to a premature grave. Dr. Wykoff, of New
York, is well known to be the only man in the
world who ever has or oan effectually oure it.
Having made the discovery and secured it by
law, therefore no other person dare proetioe this
oure. Ho has over 150,000 references, and will
give any person $5OO if they can ever naturally
Stutter again when oneo oured by him. No
pain or surgical operation attending it, and no
pay required unless a radioal oure is performed.
The dootor is new at the City Hotel, In Pitts

Th« Hog Trade.
A strong desire still exists to purchase hogs for early
delivery; and sales hare been made within the week at
$0.30 per cwt. net, l‘>r November delivery, and now holders
ask $6 35. For December delivery, we hear of no transac
tions—holders ask $6, ami purchases could not bo mad*
below this rate. The stock of old Pork and Bacon in this
mnrket Is very small, and before the Bew comes in, will
be entirely exhausted. This will be the case. It is sup
