D. 1854. it is nmde the duty of the Justices of the Peace cf the sevml coun ties of this Commonwealth to return lo the Clerk of the Ccurt of Quarter Sessions of the Peace, of tbe respective counties, all the re cognizances entered into before them by any person or persons charged with the com in is sion of any crime, except sucb cases as may be ended before a Justice of the Peace, under the existing laws, at least ten days before the commencement of the session of the Court to which they are made n'urnable respectively, and in all cases where any recognizances are entered into less (ban ten days before the commencement of the session to which they are made returnable, the taii Justices ire re quired to return the same in the same manner as if said act bad not been passed.
