Ross Buller, State fish cul- tnrist who has been quite ill at his home on East Linn street for nearly two weeks, is reported to be show- ing some improvement in health. Mr. Buller has undergone several blood transfusions -After spending several days in Bellefonte, Pvt. Walter Forster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Forster, of East Bishop ‘street, on Tuesday de- parted for Fort Ord, Calif, where he will receive assignment. Pvt, Forster last week completed basic training at Camp Wheeler, Ga —Mrs. Samuel D. Rhinesmith, of East Bishop street, who Tuesday of last week was admitted to the Cen- tre County Hospital for observation and treatment, is reported to be re covering steadily. Mrs. Rhinesmith was taken to the hospital after she became ill suddenly at her home. Word was received this past week of the death of the wile of | Charles P. Barnes, brother of Homer | Barnes and Mrs. Dalse Hendoerton of East High street, who resils .n Keokuk, Towa. Mrs. Barnes had been iii abou: two months prior to her death. The house being vacated by the Kachiks will be oc- cupied by Mr. and Mrs. John Z. Frey and family, who will vacate the William Witmer house located further east on the same street Mrs. John Weber and Mrs. Har- ry Shope, both of Bellefonte, enter- tained members of the Bullders Sun- day School Class of the Bellefonte United Brethren church at the Shope home on East Bishop street, last Thursday evening. After a short business meeting a social hour was held at which time refreshments were served. Mrs. G. E. Householder, wife of the pastor of the church, is teacher of the class. Eighteen were present, Miss Sarah Adams was re-elect ed president of the Bellefonte Vic- tory Club at an election held last week.
