Tho funeral will be &' terment will be In West Laurel Hill Cemetery. -Mr. Clothier died last Saturday. He was seventy-one years old. He had been In 111 health for several months, but untlt his con altlon became critical, several days ago, It was thought that he would recover. Death was due to heart disease A native of Philadelphia and descendant of an old Colonial family, Mr. Clothier at tended the Friends' Central Schooh He launched, at an early age Into tho whole sale dry goods business. He afterward became a partner In the firm of Klwr. Sey bert & Clothier. He entered tho firm of Strawbrldge & Clothier In 1S88 He re tired from the firm in 1903.
