The meeting will open on the afternoon of Nov. 13 with a ses sion for beginning beekeepers or those who want to learn more about the basics. "Winter is the best time to, start beekeeping," said Jennifer Finley, association president and entomology research techni cian in Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences. "By start ing in winter, new beekeepers will have the knowledge and equipment they need to be suc cessful when the spring bee sea son rolls around."
