Colonial maps and diaries of the past clearly identify this reg ion. It remains one of the few identifiable living folk regions from the eighteenth century. As the Goschenhoppen Historians’ reason d’etre is the preservation and presentation of local folk cul ture and history to the public, the art exhibit entitled, “Goschenhoppen—Through the Artist’s Eye” follows that mission.
